Victoria, playing Helena, enjoys a busy career as a freelance opera singer, performing various roles in operas as well as in gala performances on cruise boats. Her favourite roles include, Cio cio san (Madama Butterfly), Carmen (Carmen), Rosilinda (Die Fledermaus), Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte).
She trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London where she won a full scholarship. From the Academy Victoria went on to win the First Prize (under 35) and Audience Prize at the Wagner Society International Competition and was a finalist for the Umberto Giordano International Opera Competition in Foggia, Italy.
When not performing, she pursues her passion for teaching and tutors the young and extremely talented ladies at the prestigious Woldingham School, Surrey.
Victoria has sung the role of Helena in the opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream composed by Benjamin Britten and is thrilled to have the opportunity to explore the original script in this production.
