The St Briavels Experience

Our usual practice is for the advance guard to travel down on Friday, so that they are there to do any work that is necessary on Friday afternoon / Saturday morning. Friday night accommodation for the necessary work party is paid for by the Society.

The majority of the Cast & Crew arrive on the Saturday in time to make themselves aware of the environs, and gather for a 2pm run through of the show.

Accommodation is either in the castle in dormitory provision which is free, or in B&B accommodation for which you will have to pay. Colin Hill is happy to book both types of accommodation once  informed of what is required, just e-mail him on colin@nickhill.org.uk

A complimentary Saturday early supper is traditionally served at 5.00pm prior to the Saturday evening performance at 7:30. The matinee follows at 2:00. Note these different times!

An allowance of twenty pounds per person is paid to the driver of the car which transports members of the cast and crew to and home from the castle.

Cast and crew will be asked to complete a form with their intentions  within a few weeks.
